Slight Time Extension…
So I’m sick as balls right now because I made the foolish decision to get too excited/nervous about the launch today and not sleep right/at all. Barely ate anything yesterday either, super-smart of me there too. Which led me to oversleep today, still feeling sick, and still without fully packaging the demo the way I want for release.
(Basically, I want to release the game without all its assets/script laying out where anybody can access/read them, which isn’t the state it’s in right now. I only knew how to pack it down open-source, but researching how to fix that and making sure I’m doing it all correctly is something I foolishly put off until today, and I’m now a sweaty, achy mess and can’t focus on it.)
So I’m giving myself one more day to be 100% happy with the release. It’ll be back to going up at 12 PM tomorrow, if not earlier, and I’ve now added four more choices to the game script to make up for the 1-day delay. (Yes, they’re already coded in, had been planning to boost up those scenes this weekend.) Consider this a “Please Wait” splash page of sorts for the now-finished countdown, I guess. My nerves and wonky time management are to blame for this, so I’m going to compensate for both of those in the next 24 hours with bedrest and that extra demo content. :)
Now I’ma drink some fluids and take me a nap. See you tomorrow!
